'This place hosts social and cultural events, religious celebrations, regional music festivals, modern music shows, and community gatherings such as high school graduations, Children's Day, Physical Education Day, among others. One of the most notable events is the Energy Festival, held in January in honor of the Yacyretá Hydroelectric Dam.'
Salvador Sena Amphitheater (Anfiteatro Salvador Sena)
Location: Bernardino Valle and Libertador streets. It was built around 1990 so the Energy Festival could have a place to happen.
It is an ideal space to support and show music and other artistic, cultural, social, and sports activities.
It is located on the Paraná river cliffs. It holds 5,000 people. It has a covered stage, dressing rooms in the basement, and a meeting room.
Here they hold social, cultural, and religious events, regional music festivals, modern shows, and community parties, such as:
- Graduation ceremony for high school students
- Children’s day
- Physical education party
The most important event is the Energy Festival in January, celebrating the Yacyretá hydroelectric dam. There are contests for new songs, logo design, and participants include students, local, regional, and national artists. It is organized by the City Musicians Commission.
Salvador Sena Monument
It is a bust of one of the founders of Ituzaingó. Made by the sculptor Lorenzo Schenone from Chaco in 1964. The bust is made of cement painted white and has a visible brick pedestal.
