Amphitheater Salvador Sena
Location: Bernardino Valle and Libertador Street. It was built around the year 1990 to provide a venue for the Festival of Energy. Considered an ideal space to nurture and promote indigenous music and other artistic, cultural, social, and sports expressions.
It was named in honor of the accordionist musician from our city, a native of Isla Apipé Grande. Built on the banks of the Paraná River, it has a capacity for 5000 spectators, a covered central stage, with dressing rooms for artists and a meeting room designed in its basement.
This venue hosts sociocultural and religious events, regional music festivals, modern musical performances, as well as community celebrations such as high school graduation receptions, Children’s Day, Physical Education Day, among others. It is also the venue for the prominent event “La Fiesta de la Energía” held in January, honoring the Yacyretá Hydroelectric Dam. The event includes various activities, contests for original songs, logo design, with the participation of local, regional, and national students and artists. The organization is handled by the Music Commission of our city.
MONUMENT TO SALVADOR SENA
