Ituzaingó is a resort town located in the province of Corrientes, Argentina. Known for its natural beauty, it is situated on the banks of the Paraná River, 232 kilometers from the provincial capital. It is a quiet and safe city.
Ituzaingó is a very popular tourist destination, especially during the summer season. Its main attractions are its beaches, characterized by fine white sand and crystal-clear waters. It also stands out for its history and culture, which can be appreciated in its museums and monuments.
The city boasts more than 15 km of fine sandy beaches with eight beach clubs, which provide various services that enhance the tourists' stay. During the summer, activities such as parades, musical performances, dance events, and the rental of jet skis, among others, take place regularly.
All the beaches have restrooms, gastronomy services, beach accessories such as chairs, umbrellas, lifeguards, a buoy system, volleyball courts, and soccer fields. Additionally, efforts have been made to plan for the accessibility of people with disabilities to the tourist services offered, with the goal of promoting equality. Therefore, several beaches already have access ramps and amphibious chairs to enjoy the river.
The Paraná River is also utilized for fishing activities, a sport that has generated significant demand, especially from foreigners. Ituzaingó has many operators dedicated to fishing excursions, guiding, and it is part of our tourism calendar.
In Ituzaingó, there is a wide variety of accommodations for all budgets. There is also a great variety of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
The city was founded in 1864 by Bernardino Valle, an Italian navigator who arrived in Argentina in 1850. In 1958, through an agreement between Argentina and Paraguay, the construction of the Yacyretá Dam began, which is located a few kilometers from the city.
Yacyretá Hydroelectric Dam
It is one of the largest dams in the world. It offers free guided tours that allow tourists to learn about its construction and operation. It is a very popular destination.

From Buenos Aires

National Route No. 14 to the city of Gdor. Virasoro (Corrientes): Take the junction with National Route No. 120 until reconnecting with Route 12. Resume heading left for about 30 km, passing the toll station "Caminos del Paraná," and you will find the first access to the tourist city of Ituzaingó.

National Route No. 12 to the "Cuatro Bocas" intersection (Saladas-Corrientes): If you continue straight, you will connect with National Route No. 118, passing through the localities of Santa Rosa, San Miguel, and Loreto until rejoining National Route No. 12. Turn right after about 50 km, and you will reach the main access to the tourist city of Ituzaingó.

National Route No. 12 to the "Cuatro Bocas" intersection (Saladas-Corrientes): If you turn left, you will reach the capital of Corrientes, continuing always on National Route No. 12. You will need to travel about 230 km in a northward direction until reaching the tourist city of Ituzaingó.
From Córdoba

Via National Route No. 19 to connect with National Route No. 168, then merge onto National Route No. 27, until the "Cuatro Bocas" intersection (Saladas-Corrientes): If you continue straight, you will connect with National Route No. 118, passing through the towns of Santa Rosa, San Miguel, and Loreto until rejoining National Route No. 12. Turn right after about 50 km, and you will find the main access to the tourist city of Ituzaingó.

Alternatively, via National Route No. 19 to the town of Santa Fe, then take National Route No. 11 to the city of Resistencia. From there, merge onto National Route No. 16 to Corrientes capital, and then resume on National Route No. 12. You will need to travel about 230 km in a northward direction to reach the tourist city of Ituzaingó.

Via National Route No. 9 to the town of Cobos, where it connects with Provincial Route No. 34 until it intersects with National Route No. 16, leading you to the city of Resistencia in the province of Chaco. Cross the General Belgrano Bridge and take National Route No. 12 in a northward direction, traveling about 230 km to reach our city.

Climate
Humid subtropical climate with no dry season. Summers are very sultry; thermometers often reach up to 46 °C, combined with the high humidity of the environment. Winters, on the other hand, are mild-cold, ranging between 7 and 20 °C, although temperatures as low as 1 °C may occur.
